Overview & Highlights

Located on the top floor of Ayani Mega Mall in Pontianak, the Ayani Megamal Food Court offers a vibrant and diverse dining experience that caters to a wide range of tastes. This bustling hawker center is a haven for food lovers seeking quick, flavorful meals from a variety of cuisines, including traditional Indonesian delights, oriental dishes, and Western favorites.

Stepping inside, you’ll find an energetic atmosphere where the scents of sizzling fried rice, aromatic spices, and freshly cooked pasta mingle effortlessly. One standout, as noted by patrons, is the tantalizing Seafood Fried Rice served by a vendor near the smoking area — a must-try for its rich flavors and fresh ingredients. For those craving comfort food, the pasta and fried rice options from the La Pasta stall impress with their balance of taste and affordability, making them perfect choices for a satisfying yet quick meal.

The food court's layout thoughtfully separates smoking and non-smoking zones, accommodating different preferences and allowing diners to enjoy their meals comfortably. Despite some customers feeling that certain dishes are pricier and less remarkable in flavor, many appreciate the lively ambiance and broad culinary selection that encourages exploration from vendor to vendor.

Whether you’re in the mood for a casual bite with friends or a quick solo lunch, Ayani Megamal Food Court serves as a convenient culinary crossroads in the heart of Pontianak. The variety here guarantees that every palate can find something to delight in, making it a memorable stop for both locals and visitors alike.

This is a hawker center located on the top floor of Ayani Mega Mall. This hawker center has lots of tenants but the food is mediocre. Almost all types of food are very expensive and not too tasty it's just that we enjoy the atmosphere. There are two parts of the area in the hawker center: the smoking area and the area which is not allowed to smoke. There used to be a place for music players but now it doesn't exist.

A decent place to eat if you want to have a few options from different vendor. In this place, there's one vendor that has a very tasty Seafood Fried Rice, but I forget the name of the vendor. It's the one that's right next to the smoking room.
